William Hickey (son of John Hickey and Marguerite LaPointe) born 5 May 1820, Maria, Quebec, married 10 September 1849, in Maria, Quebec, Jane O’Brien, born 24 December 1827, (daughter of Augustine LeBrun and Adelaide LeBlanc), died 12 March 1906.  William died 24 April 1877, Jacquet River, New Brunswick.  William was a farmer and received a 115 acre land grant in 1847 in Durham, Restigouche County next to his father’s.
